In this day of tight budgets, none of us can afford to either pay more or to receive less child support than what is allowed by law. This is the result three of my clients had in the last several months.
In August, 2009, my client had been receiving $689.00 per month in child support. After retaining this office, her new support order is $1,066.00.
In October, 2009, another client of this office had been paying $750.00 per month in child support. After retaining this office, his new monthly support obligation is $0.00 per month.
In November, 2009, a client of this office had been advised by the Department of Child Support Services that he owed over $200,000.00 in back child support. After retaining this office, the amount was reduced by over $140,000.00.
In a felony domestic violence case, my client was facing a possible sentence of four years in prison. After retaining this office, my client received a sentence of probation without jail time.
